Definition of DJ Gunz: Producer. DJ. Engineer. CEO. Hailing from East New York, Brooklyn, DJ Gunz started mixing and selecting in late '99 and formed the Absolut Experience Sound (DJ Crew) in 2003. 3 years later, he co-founded the Brooklyn Collectiv Music Group with artist Sagittarius Black and began professionally producing Hip-hop, Reggae (Dancehall / Conscious-Roots / Lover's Rock), R&B, and Soca / Calypso.

The Absolut Experience Sound has always made it a point to play music for all crowds, and has become known for its fierce brand of remixes, unique mixtapes, and unmatched production. Gunz has played college parties at New York Institute of Technology and TCI in NYC, NYC venues Club New York, Downtime (now Club Rebel), 420 Bar & Lounge, Marcus Garvey Cultural Center (Brooklyn), Five Spot Soul Food Restaurant (Brooklyn).

In addition to CCNY radio and TCI college radio, Gunz hosts a weekly radio show on internet radio upstart Big Chunez Radio every Saturday, and is buiding the Brooklyn Collectiv DJ division, currently consisting of Steve Gee, DJayCee, Trigga Bashment, and a host of others.
